In a move that's almost as predictable as it is reprehensible, the NYC apartment where Heath Ledger was residing when he left this world prematurely last January is now being quietly offered for rent again.
...At $26,000 a month!
Located in New York's fashionable SoHo neighborhood, it offers 3 bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, an office, a gourmet kitchen and 80SqFt of balcony from which to ponder the ghoulish sightseers who will no doubt be a semi-permanent fixture.
This disturbing report raises two questions: 1) Why would anyone possessed of an IQ above that of Milk spend over $300k a year to live in that part of NYC?...and 2) How does anyone so sickeningly avaricious and opportunistic as this apartment's landlord [and Mary Kate Olson] ever manage to sleep at night?!
If any New Yorker can at least clarify question one for me, I'd appreciate it.
